SWEET & SALTY POPCORN
1/2 cup popcorn seeds
1/4 cup canola oil
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons salt
ONE: Heat oil and one popcorn seed in a deep pot (with a lid) on high.
TWO: Once the kernel has popped, turn the heat down slightly, and add the rest of the popcorn seeds and sugar to the pot.
THREE: Stir the pot to mix the seeds with the sugar. Put lid on. Stay near!
FOUR: Once you start to hear a pause in the popping, immediately take the pot off of the heat.
FIVE: Pour the popcorn in the bowl and sprinkle with salt. Stir and wait about 2 minutes, until a crispy/hardened edge has formed on the popcorn. Enjoy!
